Description

Device for determining the thermal stability of nitrocellulose powders and other nitro-containing explosives according to the Abel test at 80 °C.

Scope of delivery

  • Aluminum heating block (5 bores Ø 17.5 ± 0.1 mm, depth 70 mm), PT100 sensor, over-temperature protection (100 °C)
  • Programmable PID controller in a separate control box (control accuracy ±0.1 °C, max. 85 °C)
  • 5 test tubes with 3 ring markings, rubber stoppers, glass rod with platinum hook (Ø 17.5 ± 0.2 mm × 135 ± 2 mm)
  • Aluminum heating block with 5 bores
  • Programmable PID control (±0.1 °C)
  • Over-temperature protection at 100 °C
  • Max. temperature 85 °C
